1999 NORDHAVN 57 ' MOTOR-YACHT , file# pa5785 UNDER CONTRACT
LOA: 57', LWL: 52' 8" , Beam: 17' 7", Draft: 5',9" Displacement: 120,000#
Location : New Brunswick
BUILDER: P.A.E./Ta Shing Tainan, Taiwan DESIGNER: Jeff Leishman
VESSEL OVERVIEW: The Nordhavn 57 is a full-displacement passage-maker with all the necessary features for ocean crossing. The construction is to the same heavy scantlings as her sister ships, but the design differs in styling and interior volume. The 57 maintains a rugged, commercial look while interfacing a contemporary elegance, and offers a level of performance that expands the envelope of top cruising speed and long range potential. The hull and its bulbous bow have been fine-tuned. A combination of a parabolic-shaped bulb, fuller sections aft, and a stern designed to minimize drag-inducing suction at high cruising speeds, allows this vessel to run efficiently at speed. The 57 offers cruising speeds above what is normally possible in a full-displacement hull while maintaining the benefits of this hull form, such as ocean crossing capability, reduced noise and vibration levels, heavy construction scantlings, and greater safety - comfort.
ACCOMMODATIONS: The 57 features an interior volume - overall length ratio higher than previous Nordhavn designs. This increase in space is due to a greater beam - length ratio, increased volume in hull sections, and the beam carried farther aft. Additional innovations include a walk-in engine room with dual work benches, a deep lazarette with shelves, a large cockpit, a swim platform with access door, a large fly-bridge, and fiberglass fuel and water tanks. The YACHT has three staterooms and two heads. Custom coil mattresses installed in 2021. The galley, at the forward end of the salon, is arranged for gourmet meals aboard, with Corian style counter tops and dual stainless sinks. The propane stove is a Force 10 with three burners, broiler, and oven, complete with two 30 LB aluminum gas tanks. Subzero refrigerator and freezer, in sink garbage disposal, GE convection microwave, Grohe Lady Lux faucet. There is a Sea Freeze icemaker in the salon, a Force 10 barbecue grill in the cockpit, and a GE freezer in the lazerette. There is a full size Whirlpool washer and dryer, a built in Nutone central vacuum system and a laser computer printer.

BROKER'S COMMENT: The Nordhavn 57 is one of their most highly regarded models. With her bulbous bow, she is faster than most with a potential 9 kt. cruising speed. She has purposeful good looks and a low maintenance exterior. As with most Nordhavns, she has Trans Atlantic range and capabilities. This boat has been consistently well maintained and is available at a very competitive price.
Not for sale to US Citizens while in US waters.
